Lyta – Geh Monie

With his mesmerizing new song “Geh Monie,” Lyta, a premier Nigerian music powerhouse, makes his official debut in our music section.

This fantastic piece follows up quickly on his previous debut album release, “Stranger EP.”

The young Nigerian artist secured a contract with YBNL Nation in 2018 but quit the company in May 2019 after a disagreement with Olamide, a prominent Nigerian rapper and the YBNL Nation CEO.

In 2020, Lyta joined Naira Marley’s Marlian Records. His first release on the label, “Hold Me Down (Omo Gidi),” was also released.

The “Hold Me Down” music video was directed by TG Omori, who drew inspiration from the music videos of Korean boy bands like BTS and GOT7.

Babatunde Rahim, better known by his stage name Lyta, is a dynamic musical phenomenon and one of the finest musicians in Nigeria.
