Popular social media commentator, Reno Omokri has opined that the only category of people qualified to be called friends is people who help one when in need.

The former presidential aide made this declaration via his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday where he declared that one needs a good Samaritan in one’s life.

According to the writer, associates, companions, and cronies are frenemies but not friends.

In his words, he wrote:

“If you have no one you can call if you need money and you are sure they will come to your aid, then you don’t have friends. You have associates, companions, and cronies. But no friends. You need a friend, like the Good Samaritan, who will spend money to save your life!”
