Portable, a Nigerian singer and rave of the moment, appeared on veteran rapper Jahbless’ podcast, Original Intelligence, and spoke about some of the most challenging issues.
A jovial Portable responds to Jahbless’ question about his relationship with Kogbagidi by saying, “I’m not sure about that.”
“Kogbagidi always messes things up. Why? I’m going to tell my boss that I don’t like all of these things. You know, tell me, I’m already experiencing [madness]. But una go on doing what she’s doing [which I don’t like]…
In Poco Lee’s words, ‘Boss, all these things that this boy dey talk, you don’t tell me naw,’ Kogbagidi responded. I tell [Kogbagidi] that a certain individual has offended me. I tell myself that [Poco] is causing me problems and that he is refusing to respond to me until I wicked [Poco]. Now that’s a load of rubbish. “It’s because of wetin that you’re wan chop.”
He went on to say that Olamide then inquired of Kogbagidi as to whether or not Portable had made his feelings known before the legendary rapper resolved the situation. It didn’t take long for the singer to mention his collaboration with Olamide on his latest single ‘Ogo Forever,‘ as well as how Olamide sponsored the video shoots and studio sessions for his smash hit single “Zazuu zeh.”
He also claimed that Ijoba Danku, a close friend of Kogbagidi’s, has taken over as manager of his business. Danku, he claims, played a crucial role in resolving his dispute with Kogbagidi.
Portable expressed gratitude to Danku for making his life easier by not requiring him to dress better than he normally does before meeting celebrities and other notable people.
