Afro-pop artist Mayorkun switches to rap for his new single, “Of Lagos.” which is a hip-hop record that will keep you grooving all night long is what this song is about.
Mayorkun, a Nigerian musician, is one of many who has opted to stray from their usual sound for the duration of this year. Rapping was a new challenge for the “Eleko” vocalist, but he proved natural.
“Of Lagos,” there is nothing unique about it. It all began as a studio cut from one of the singer’s studio sessions, but it became a powerful piece of work.
The DMW hitmaker, Fresh VDM, served Mayorkun a bopping beat with good instruments for this appealing tune.
